Guanacasteca and Puntarenas signed a draw (1 – 1) this Saturday, in the match corresponding to date 8.

The hosts started to win with a goal from Pablo Córdoba in the 50th minute of the first half, while through Randy Vega the visitor equalized the game in the 70th minute of the complementary phase.

One of Puntarenas’ plays could have changed the score when Yoserth Hernández shot on goal in the 85th minute of the second half, but the ball hit one of the posts.

The figure of the match was Randy Vega. The Puntarenas striker showed his best level by scoring 1 goal.

For the next date, Guanacasteca will play as visitors against Municipal Grecia and Puntarenas will host Sporting FC.

With this result, the host accumulates 10 points throughout the contest and takes fifth place. For its part, the visit adds 9 units and is in seventh place.
