A fire in the office of the mayor of Xochimilco affects the grassy area of ​​the ejido of San Gregorio, Atlapulco, with no serious injuries or property damage reported so far.

The Command, Control, Computing, Communication and Citizen Contact Center of CDMX reported the presence of the incident. For now, no details about its origin or the causes that caused it have been revealed.

The authorities mobilized after the opinion of the neighbors. Mexico City’s Heroic Fire Department said it was already dealing with the situation, similarly it reported dry grass and fallen leaves being burned over approximately 5,000 square meters.

Mexico City’s Natural Resources and Rural Development Commission is working with firefighters to mitigate the blaze.

Likewise, the Ministry of the Environment reported that members of the Atlepetl Brigade are fighting the fire in the Laguna de San Gregorio area, in San Gregorio Atlapulco
