Elements of the Local police to help the young woman, so the student and her friend left the scene. However, when they were already in the bar, a person approached them to complain because the woman’s wallet was missing, which is why he suspected a possible theft.

Despite this, they transferred her to the command and, apparently, during the trip she was insulted, threatened and attacked by the in uniform Among the acts allegedly perpetrated by the officers was the theft of an inhaler which the young woman uses to treat her asthma.

Added to this, according to the account of the facts, one of the police cut several strands of her hair with scissors after the student complained about the arbitrariness of their practices as civil servants.

“I believe that it was a racist attack because they treated me like a thief just because I’m a black woman,” the UACH student shared, according to the aforementioned outlet.

One of the details of this situation that stands out the most, in addition to the probable attacks, is that the municipal police took only the student and not the people who accused her.

Moreover, the document signed by the Chancellor Carlos Nataren Nandayapa He planned that the house of studies would accompany the young woman to file the respective complaints with the Internal Affairs Council of the Municipal Police, the National Commission for Human Rights and, if possible, the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
