A flip-flop sparked a violent fight in a restaurant in Acapulco

Last weekend was bridge in Mexico and while some stayed home due to the pandemic, others decided to escape to the beach in Acapulco. And while some enjoyed their ride, others finished fighting in the middle of the beach.

A video recorded for the Instagram stories of an anonymous user, went viral after showing a battle that started because a woman threw a flip-flop and it fell on the wrong person.

In the recording you can see that a couple was in the middle of a very strong argument and that it even became physical when the woman began to hit her partner a few times. But when he decided to walk away took a flip-flop and threw it in the man’s direction, but it passed by and fell on another couple who was behind the man.

This second couple immediately got up to face the aggressive woman, who instead of apologizing, he began to throw blows at the second woman. A couple of men tried to separate them, but it didn’t work.

In the following clip you can observe that a third woman, who was a few tables away, came over to argue with the first. Although you do not hear what they are saying, you can see the first one gesturing with the middle finger.

But the things they became more aggressive for the next recording, as you can see the second one that literally dragged the first woman by the hair. But the partner of the second woman also participated and between the two they beat the woman.

While she was battling with people, her partner also began to be surrounded and beaten by several men.

Finally, the battle reached the palapas where there were people sitting and who had to step aside since the blows were directed at them. Once there, the couples of the women who were fighting on the other hand, grabbed even the plastic chairs to hit each other. While some people had enough and started calling the police.

The pitched battle was able to stop and the people began to disperse, but not without leaving some damage, because in the last seconds it can be seen that a person was cleaning an apparent wound.

The Last weekend the public forgot the notion of a pandemic, and wide lines of cars were registered in the Mexico-Cuernavaca booth, with direction to different destinations in the states of Morelos and Guerrero.

Thousands of tourists began to arrive in Acapulco and populate the beaches to enjoy the sea and the high temperatures. However, users on social networks have reported that vacationers do not wear the mask properly or respect the healthy distance, which could lead to a rebound in cases and hospitalizations in the entity.

According to municipal authorities, the percentage of rooms reserved for this weekend started with 40% occupancy, but saturday and sunday they registered 50%, which means that the municipality is already at the limit of its capacity due to the capacity restrictions of the pandemic.

According to what was reported by Federal Roads and Bridges of Income and Related Services (Capufe), on the indicated highway there was a capacity of fifty exit vehicles per minute, as well as an entrance of 15 cars to the city, for which 19 toll booths with mixed charges.
