Five fictions that arrive in March to program

The third month of the year is approaching and the proposals are renewed on each of the streaming platforms. These are series that premiere their new episodes and aim to cultivate an audience hungry for new stories. These are the five most anticipated productions arriving in this month that has just begun.

The Mandalorian season 3

The long-awaited third season is coming to Disney+. Pedro Pascal (currently part of the HBO Max series, The last of us) returns with the character of The Mandalorian of the universe of star wars. The synopsis predicts that “The Mandalorian’s journeys across the galaxy continue. Din Djarin, a reclusive old bounty hunter, has found Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to turn the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he continues his journey alongside Grogu.” It opens on March 1 and new chapters every week.

Everybody loves Daisy Jones

This fiction is to be seen on Prime Video from March 3 and is produced by actress Resee Witherspoon. Everybody loves Daisy Jones It is based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s bestselling novel. It’s a musical drama that chronicles the rise and fall of famed band Daisy Jones & The Six from 1977. The band featured the vocals of Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin). But after a sold-out concert, they decide to disband the group. Time passes and the group decides to tell the reasons for leaving.

The cry of butterflies

International Women’s Day, March 8, is coming to the Star+ catalog the series The cry of butterflies which tells the relationship between the activist Minerva Mirabal and Arantxa Oyamburu. Minerva (played by Sandy Hernández) and her sisters received the nickname “butterflies” and faced the totalitarian regime of dictator Rafael Leónidas Trujillo, known as “El Chivo”, who with cruelty, violence and death wielded the strings of the Republic Dominican islander from 1930 until his assassination in 1961. The series has 13 episodes of 45 minutes.

the kingdom season 2

The second season of the Argentinian series The kingdom It will arrive on Netflix on March 22. After a successful first episode, a new batch of episodes arrive where Pastor Emilio (Diego Peretti) will continue his macabre plan: he has now become president of Argentina. Emilio goes further, adding new allies and even his own army, with which he will set up a regime of terror to regain control of the country and its popularity. Opposite this Machiavellian man is Tadeo (Peter Lanzani), who without looking for it becomes a popular leader and will not escape the mission he feels assigned: to free the people from evil, embodied by Emilio.

get out of prison

It’s a comedy starring Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo. The series is based on the life of its creator, Tracy McMillan, and has eight half-hour episodes that will air March 29 on Star+. The actress of Scandal stars as Paige Alexander, a single mother and relationship therapist whose life is turned upside down when her father, Edwin (Lindo) is released from prison after 17 years and moves in with her and Finn (Faly Rakotohavana), their teenage son.
