TCL Europe on Tuesday unveiled the latest multi-category developments in its connected ecosystem, which includes the new MiniLED and QLED televisions, sound bars and smart appliances.

The company has introduced the new models of the C series, which includes the C72, C72 + and C82 televisions, available in various screen sizes, from 43 to 75 inches. They include the latest generation Quantum Dot technology, as well as the AiPQ engine and deep learning for intelligent audiovisual optimization.

Together, and thanks to these technologies, the new televisions reproduce the 100% cinematic color range, made up of more than one billion tones and shades, as indicated by the company. They are also able to classify the type of content so that the images on the screen look realistic.

The C82 uses TCL’s high-performance Mini-LED technology, with thousands of miniLEDs and the ability to offer 20 stops or steps of dynamic range, enhancing contrast accuracy to deliver “greater depth, detail and dimension.”

This model also plays 4K HDR Premium, while the C72 and C72 + come with 4K HDR Pro, which is combined with Quantum Dot to deliver a high dynamic range (HDR) experience.

C82 and C72 + series, reproduce at 100Hz native. Also, C82 comes with vertical scan so fast moving objects are accurate. The C72 series is also equipped with Motion Clarity for a smooth image and enhanced movement.

The new C Series TVs have also been designed with gamers in mind, incorporating ports such as HDMI 2.1 and ALLM (C72) and 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 and VRR (C82 and C72 +).

In sound, the C72 and C72 + models feature Onkyo technology with Dolby Atmos, while the C82 integrates an ONKYO 2.1 surround sound solution with front firing speakers and a dedicated bass speaker at the rear.

The new C series comes with the latest version 11 Android TV system built in and Google Assistant as part of the package. They are also compatible with Alexa, and in the case of C82, which integrates a video camera, with video calling systems.

TCL has also launched its new TS8132 soundbar, featuring Dolby Atmos 3.1.2 technology driven by eight speakers and a compact wireless subwoofer.

It incorporates Chromecast, works with Apple AirPlay, Google Assistant and Alexa, and is compatible with HDMI with eARC, which allows it to be connected to a TV with support for all audio formats and also with 4K transfer compatible with Dolby Vision.

WHAT’S NEW FOR THE CONNECTED HOME

TCL has presented its new interconnected solutions under its AI x IoT strategy, with which it seeks to offer a line of smart home products, to help people achieve an ideal home environment within an integrated and fully connected ecosystem.

TCL’s range of refrigerators includes the new RP470CXE0, which preserves food with the help of the Inverter Compressor, which operates linearly and continuously adjusts its speed according to temperature variations.

It includes a Fresh Zone Crisper drawer with a compartment specially designed to maintain a 90% humidity level and an Aroma Safe container that guarantees a reduced humidity level for fresh produce.

The RP318BXE0 refrigerator also includes Inverter Compressor, power cool function and multiple air flow for food preservation, and has homogeneous and frost-free refrigeration to avoid the task of defrosting. It also has a digital display on the front panel.

The third model, RP503SXE0, combines the Inverter Compressor and TCL’s ‘Total no Frost’ functions to make the temperature more uniform. It also includes temperature sensors placed on both sides of the refrigerator and a Smart Mode that speeds up cooling after long-term doors are open. It also has a digital display on the front panel.

New from TCL for the home include the P Series washers (8kg, 9kg and 10kg), which use a more durable and reliable Inverter motor, a spin that removes more water to minimize drying time and a wash in spray to clean clothes for a more hygienic wash.

With the automatic dosing function, the P Series can sense the weight and material of the laundry and automatically dose the required amount of water and detergent. It also includes an antibacterial drum and a honeycomb drum for gentle washing and fabric protection. It also combines steam and water to clean fabrics.

The TCL Connected Home includes a range of air conditioners, offering energy efficiency, low noise and easily washable filters. The Ocarina series has an IoT connection and ‘Gentle Breeze’ technology.

The breeva A2 range of air purifiers comes with a four-step purification system that reduces up to 99.97 percent of microbes. It is equipped with WiFi control, and the augmented version, breeva A3 / A5, features breeva Shield UV-C sterilization, which uses short-wave ultraviolet rays to destroy DNA and RNA of bacteria and microorganisms.

Finally, TCL has announced a range of smart, connected, autonomous robotic vacuums: the Sweeva 1000 and Sweeva 2000, which use three cleaning methods (auto / edge / manual) and a three-stage suction power setting. The entire Sweeva range features a long-lasting battery and features such as self-charging.
