Sony has announced its new display aimed at professionals that allows the creation and reproduction of high-resolution three-dimensional (3D) images without the user having to use a specific viewer to view them.
ELF-SR2 is Sony’s new professional display that integrates spatial reality technology to display 3D images in an immersive way thanks also to high-speed processing.
It is a 27-inch display that the technology company has designed in a slanted format and uses an LCD panel. With a super-resolution algorithm, developed from the experience of Bravia TVs, it offers realistic and natural images.
It also supports one hundred percent of the Adobe RG color gamut to reproduce color “faithfully” in creative works, as the company explains on the product page.
For its use, the user does not need to wear specific glasses for 3D content. The display has a vision sensor that performs “accurate” eye recognition even in low light conditions and allows the user to see the content well from different positions.
