New Microsoft Surface Laptop 5: Everything We know So far

Microsoft took advantage of its annual hardware event to introduce the next generation of its most popular laptop. The Surface Laptop 5 is here, and while it doesn’t represent a significant jump from the previous model, the computer embraces more recent components to get ready.

Microsoft highlights that the Surface Laptop 5 can connect to an external monitor through the Thunderbolt USB-C. This same connector, in fact, can charge the laptop. In the same way, they highlight the possibilities of its camera and microphones, so essential in the current times in which remote work has become an everyday thing:

“Enhanced camera experiences, powered by new interactive features in Windows 11, automatically adjust for lighting conditions, skin tones, and subtle changes in head and face position. Be heard loud and clear on calls with two far-field studio microphones.”

Finally, the Surface Laptop 5 boasts Dolby Atmos support. With this proposal, Microsoft hopes to provide you with an immersive experience when enjoying movies and series. Obviously, streaming video services must also be compatible with such technology.
