Under the framework of the IFA in Berlin, Honor has presented a new concept phone. We are talking about the Honor V Purse, a phone that drinks quite a lot from the Huawei Mate Xs2 that we already tested in Xataka. In this case, Honor wanted to give a twist to the concept, since this mobile can be used horizontally thanks to various optimizations.
The Honor V Purse is not a terminal that will soon go on sale, it is a concept that Honor has put on the table. For its construction materials, “sustainable” materials have been used according to Honor, such as vegan leather.
Although the design is practically carbon copy of what we saw in the Huawei Mate Xs, Honor wants to give a twist to the concept. This phone is geared to be able to be used as a fashion accessory. It has several interchangeable straps that make it practically look more like a bag than a phone. It has an Always On Display mode with customizable screens designed to show them off, a rather curious concept.
There is no trace of the phone’s specifications, but drinking from the design of the Mate Xs 2, the panel should have at least 7.8 inches unfolded and 6.5 inches, as well as a 4,500mAh battery and power to spare. For the moment, it is only a concept that they have put on the table, although Honor has made it quite clear during its presentation that foldable phones are destined to displace conventional ones.
During IFA Berlin, Honor confirmed the international arrival of its Honor Magic V2. It is the best foldable Honor has ever made and, on paper and with what we have been able to test it, one of the best phones on the market. It has not been confirmed, however, its price in Europe.
