Copilot AI, the new Dynamics 365 assistant that will compose emails and even create virtual agents

Microsoft announced the launch of Dynamics 365 Copilot, an assistant that will provide interactive assistance powered by artificial intelligence (AI) in all business functions.

Dynamics 365 Copilot will be an AI-powered automated tool to speed up tedious processes and tasks. In other words, business users, marketers and customer representatives will be able to accelerate their pace of innovation and improve business results in every line of business.

According to the software developer, Microsoft Dynamics 365 will help marketers significantly reduce the time they spend on administrative tasks.

For example, the AI will help write email responses to customers and can even create an email summary of a Teams meeting in Outlook.

“The meeting summary pulls details from the salesperson’s CRM, such as product and pricing information, as well as information from the recorded Teams call. Given that salespeople spend up to 66% of their day reviewing and responding to emails, this presents a significant business advantage to give the salesperson more time with their customers,” Microsoft explains.

On the other hand, it should be noted, that according to the company, Dynamics 365 Copilot, will write contextual responses to queries in both chat and email; likewise, it will have an interactive chat experience on knowledge bases and case history, so that this AI-driven experience is always available to answer questions.

But Copilot doesn’t stop there, it will also facilitate the creation of virtual agents in minutes with conversation enhancers in Power Virtual Agents, to perform customer service work.

For marketers or marketing departments, it will make their job easier in terms of data exploration, audience segmentation and content creation.

“Marketers can target specific customer segments with high personalization by having a dialog with their customer data platform through natural language. They will be able to receive suggestions on additional segments that may not have been considered previously.”

In addition, with Dynamics 365 Copilot, it will be a tool that Microsoft says inspires you effortlessly to create new email campaign content based on a simple request.

Copilot will make suggestions based on key topics entered by the marketer, the organization’s existing marketing emails, as well as from a variety of Internet sources to increase the relevance of the ideas generated.

Copilot in Dynamics 365 Business Central streamlines the creation of product lists for online commerce. Product attributes such as color, material and size can be used to create compelling product descriptions for online storefronts in seconds. Descriptions can be further customized by choosing the tone of voice, format and length. Business Central customers using Shopify can seamlessly publish products with descriptions to their Shopify store with just a few clicks.

Finally, Copilot will help Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management customers proactively flag external issues such as weather, financials and geography that can affect key supply chain processes.

This makes it easier for chain planners to automatically compose a Dynamics 365 Copilot-generated email to alert affected partners and mitigate potential disruptions before they happen.
