Kely Nascimiento has come out against the rumours, through her social networks, which affirm that her father’s cancer is widespread
The state of health of Edson Arantes do Nascimiento ‘Pelé’ continues to worry the world of football. The Brazilian is currently being treated for colon cancer and recently there has been speculation that his situation will worsen.
There was talk of widespread cancer . And this was going around the planet after its environment did not deny it. However, his daughter Kely Nascimiento has taken the floor now to meet the many speculations that have been pouring out since the news broke.
Through his Instagram profile , Kely has assured that his father is stable and without a change in diagnosis: ” Yesterday I was bombarded by WhatsApp and other networks. I was even surprised by what was happening. I am writing to tell you that my father is well and that his diagnosis did not change.
“He goes to the hospital every month to have a general evaluation, so you can expect that kind of thing (hospitalizations) to happen from time to time. Thank you all for the concern,” Pelé ‘s daughter continued in the aforementioned social network.
Rumors
This same week, from ESPN Brazil it was published that the one considered the best soccer player of all time had suffered a relapse in his health. The information indicated that in addition to the tumor in the colon, others had been detected in the liver, intestine and lung.
This after the medical bulletin announced that Pelé had been discharged: “Edson Arantes do Nascimento was admitted to the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein on January 19 and 20 to follow up on the treatment of the colon tumor, which was diagnosed in September 2021. The patient was discharged this Thursday and is in stable clinical condition.”
His daughter has thus reassured the faithful of a Pelé who last August went to the hospital, Albert Einstein , for routine examinations and ended up detecting that colon cancer for which he was operated on days later. Now he is in full follow-up and, despite the insistent rumours, his daughter Kely has assured that her “father is fine and that his diagnosis has not changed”.
