HyperMotion has allowed the integration of the first motion capture of 22 footballers playing at high intensity

Electronic Arts has presented ‘FIFA 22‘with next-generation HyperMotion technology, bringing the world’s most immersive and realistic gaming experience to life, in every game and across all console modes. With this technology, ‘FIFA 22’ will combine Advanced Capture of 11v11 Matches and a new machine learning technology to provide a more realistic, fluid and responsive football for the next generation consoles.

HyperMotion has allowed the integration of the first motion capture of 22 soccer players playing at high intensity. In addition, the machine learning algorithm acquires information from more than 8.7 million frames of advanced capture in the matches and writes, from there, new animations in real time in order to create a more organic soccer movement through from a wide variety of interactions in the field.

This new edition will also offer innovative features in other sections of the game and its most popular modes, such as Career Mode, VOLTA, Pro Clubs and FIFA Ultimate Team. Apparently, the players of ‘FIFA 22’ will find more consistency and different personalities between the goal posts with a complete rebuild of the goalkeeping system, a completely new experience when it comes to Create a Club in Career Mode, a new video game reinvented in VOLTA and the introduction of FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes, completely new elements that represent the stories of great cult players.

Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé will appear on the cover for the second year in a row, making him one of the few to earn consecutive cover star status, alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. “FIFA 22 will offer millions of fans around the world the opportunity to participate in the sport they enjoy so much in an unprecedented way,” said Nick Wlodyka, FIFA General Manager. “HyperMotion will elevate the dynamics on next-gen platforms and Stadia, and completely change the feel of the video game.” It will be available on October 1, 2021 on PlayStation 5, XboxSeries X | S, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
