Joel Embiid had 22 points and 10 rebounds and, with a balanced attack, the Philadelphia 76ers extended their winning streak to six on Wednesday, beating the Detroit Pistons 113-93.

Tobias Harris had 17 points, even though he had early foul trouble, and James Harden added 15 points and eight assists for the Sixers. Philadelphia featured six players who scored in double figures, including De’Anthony Melton (12), George, Niang (11) and Montrezl Harrel (10).

The Sixers’ six-game winning streak is their longest since they won seven in a row between December 26 and January 10 of the 2021-22 season. Philadelphia has won eight straight at home after starting the season 5-5 at home.

Jaden Ivey led Detroit and followed up on a night in which he had a career-high 30 points. This time, he had 16.

Killian Hayes had 12 and Saddiq Bey 11 for the Pistons, who have lost seven of their last eight.

Philadelphia overcame defensive woes. The 7ers forced 11 turnovers and only allowed the Pistons to shoot 32.1% from the field in the third quarter.
