NFL legend Marshawn Lynch has been arrested.
Las Vegas police said Tuesday a car with Lynch behind the wheel was pulled over on suspicion that he had impaired driving. (NEWS: All current information about the NFL)
“In the course of the investigation, officers determined that Lynch was under the influence of drugs and arrested him,” the LVMPD report said. “Lynch was taken to the Las Vegas City Jail and arrested for driving under the influence.”
It was initially unclear whether Lynch had previously consumed alcohol or other drugs. It is also unclear what punishment he faces.

This isn’t the first time Beastmode has been arrested for this. Already in 2012 he was arrested in California for driving under the influence and had to pay 1,000 euros in addition to a two-year suspended sentence.
The running back was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2007 before being traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2010 . There he achieved cult status under the name “Beastmode” and was crowned Super Bowl winner with the team in 2013.
The 36-year-old, who retired in 2020, is currently a shareholder in the NHL team Seattle Kraken and has recently been a special correspondent for the Seattle Seahawks.
