“A lack of respect”: Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister comes out in defense of the Portuguese and criticized Manchester United for leaving CR7 on the bench

Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister comes out in defense of the Portuguese and criticized Manchester United for leaving CR7 on the bench

Elma Aveiro, one of Cristiano Ronaldo’s sisters, commented on the difficult moment the Portuguese star is going through at Manchester United and criticized the “lack of respect” with her brother at Old Trafford.

Cristiano is under the spotlight again for having gone to the locker room before the end of the match between Manchester United and Tottenham (2-0)after the coach, the Dutch Erik Ten Hag, had him warming up from the first half without taking him out on the field.

On her Instagram profile, Elma left a veiled threat to her brother’s team, alludes to the “contempt” that Cristiano lives in Manchester and says that “the law of return exists.”

“My great hero and love of my life, I will be with you until death do us part. The law of return exists. And I will see a lot. Mostly disrespectful,” she claimed.

This is not the first time that Elma, one of Cristiano’s older sisters, has come to his defense. since it was recently shown on the networks in favor of the dismissal of Ten Hag at the head of the “Red Devils”.

CR7 has become controversial again after he went to the dressing rooms in the last minutes of Manchester United’s 2-0 victory over Tottenham. The Lusitanian warmed up from the first half, but was not taken into account by coach Erik Ten Hag who left him on the bench for 90 minutes.

“I’ll deal with it tomorrow, not today. Today we will celebrate this victory”, said the Dutch coach after being asked about Ronaldo’s action in the final minutes of the match.

The Portuguese has had few minutes during the first 10 days of the Premier League and has barely scored a goal in the league, and another penalty in the Europa League. Many have speculated that Ronaldo will leave Manchester United at the start of the year when the winter transfer window opens.

The topic continues to be one of the most debated on the social network Twitter among Portuguese Internet users, and today “Ronaldo” ranked third in the most talked about songs, while “Ten Hag” was fourth.

This is the second consecutive game for United in which Cristiano is in the news since in the previous one, against Newcastle, he was visibly upset at having been substituted.
