Brook Lopez hit a layup with seven seconds to go and the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Dallas Mavericks 106-105 on Friday night.

The Bucks held on despite playing the last 2:55 without their star Giannis Antetokounmpo due to an accumulation of fouls. The “Greek Freak” finished with 28 points and broke his eight-game streak with at least 30.

Luka Doncic had 33 points and 11 assists and put Dallas ahead with another layup with 29 seconds to go before the final buzzer.

But the Mavericks couldn’t make the free throws they had late on — they went just 10 of 24 the entire game — setting the door open for the Bucks’ fourth straight win. Dallas, for its part, snapped a three-game winning streak.

Antetokounmpo’s sixth foul came when he tried to block a 3-pointer from Tim Hardaway Jr., who missed all three of his free throws to put Milwaukee ahead.

Khris Middleton had 19 points and Jrue Holiday had 17 for the Bucks.

Spencer Dinwiddie had 15 points and Christian Wood 14 and nine boards for Dallas.
