Flamengo became the first Copa Libertadores semifinalist on Tuesday. The team from Rio de Janeiro had no complications during their series against Corinthians and is excited to finish the Olympic lap. Yearning highlighted by Arturo Vidal, the last great signing of the Rio team, after the victory.

“Very happy, things are going well since I arrived. The team took a giant step today. We are approaching my dream, the one that Flamengo and all the people have of being champion of the Libertadores”, he stated on Espn.

The Chilean, who has been getting minutes little by little and is receiving the support and affection of his teammates every time, assured that “a very tough semifinal is coming and hopefully we can be in the final. I have a two-year contract and I hope to win everything with Flamengo”.

Vidal, in fact, still sees himself playing for several seasons with the Rio de Janeiro team and that is why he said that he still does not think about retiring soon. “We’ll see what happens,” he replied in the midst of his illusion to lift the Libertadores.

“I have a long career, which with a lot of effort I have managed to be in the best teams in the world and every time he comes to a new club I feel a lot of respect”, he concluded.
