His particular name, Yunke, is owed to his grandfather, who was a blacksmith and had a workshop where he himself invented things since he was little. Salvador Vicent (La Vilavella, Castellón de la Plana, 1975) is his original name.

Red hair, her hallmark, but don’t be fooled by this “aggressive” aesthetic that she displays. The magician Yunke is a “very sensitive” person, as he himself claims; a special sensitivity that he captures on stage and which made him worthy of the title of current Winner of the World Magic Championship, in Korea.

But far from boasting of this distinction, Vicent keeps his feet on the ground and ensures that work and enthusiasm are the keys to his unstoppable success.

His illusionistic show is full of beauty and mystery, ingredients that have led him to show his art on stages and television sets around the world. So much so that even his name rings out in the White House.

The son of the former US president, Donald TrumpHe called me because he had seen me in ‘El Hormiguero’ playing a game with a crossbow that fired on an apple and he wanted to meet me,” an excited Yunke tells GLM.

The Castellón illusionist did not think twice and went to the rural house where he had been summoned to perform magic:

“I had a bow and a target, they blindfolded me and Trump Jr. took the target. Imagine the one that was armed when I took the bow and arrow, all the security men rose! I was very scared, I said ‘if I failed, here they kill me'”.

Luckily, the number turned out well and the tycoon’s son was delighted. “The next day the head of the Civil Guard scoffed at me for daring to shoot at the son of the US president. It remained as an anecdote, I had a great time, they are healthy people,” he says jokingly.

And although the Trump family are not the only “celebrities” he has conquered with his magic, Yunke acknowledges that would you like to meet Reef Nadal, “Have dinner and do a magic with him”.
