The influencer posted a couple of videos on Facebook denouncing the action and assuring that she has done nothing wrong.
Years ago Yoss Hoffman, better known as YosStop, was one of the most famous influencers on YouTube. Through sketch and opinion videos, the young woman managed to captivate millions of followers who applauded her style.
But with her reach came controversy: first came the episode that earned her the nickname Lady Sabritones, in which she insulted the captain of a yacht in a public video with her friends. Then came the dissemination of the visual material in which the young Ainara Sanchez was sexually assaulted and which ended with the imprisonment of YosStop, accused of child pornography.
After her release from prison the young woman continued her activity as an influencer on various platforms, but YouTube made the decision to stop monetizing her accounts in 2021 and to close them in 2022 arguing that the influencer did not respect the terms and conditions of the platform.
Recently YosStop returned to YouTube through an account that her husband, Gerardo Gonzalez, opened to broadcast, Por Ella, a podcast dedicated to women.
A few days ago the influencer posted a couple of videos through her Facebook account in which she announced that YouTube also closed this account, without giving her explanations. In one of them she said: “The reality is that YouTube profited with my content without paying me a penny for more than a year and suddenly one day they deleted it just because they felt like it. Since I wasn’t even creating content for my channels anymore… the reality is that they deleted my channels in the middle of last year without any justification. I was already out (of jail), without any problem, there is no record of any kind and they suddenly deleted them”.
In another video, she commented that the channels of her husband and her mother have also been closed or banned by the platform.
For its part, a YouTube spokesperson explained its position through a statement issued by its communications agency: “I can confirm that we have terminated YosStop’s channels for circumventing the restrictions of our Community Guidelines by monetizing a new YouTube account while his participation in the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) was under suspension”.
