The second season of the series “Control Z” will premiere this Wednesday, almost six months after the death of actor Rodrigo Mejía.

The second season of the series “Control Z” , transmitted through Netflix , will no longer have the participation of actor Rodrigo Mejía , who died from complications derived from the COVID-19 coronavirus .

The production will premiere a new session this Wednesday, August 4, but unfortunately the cast suffered the loss of one of their companions due to the pandemic.

It should be remembered that Rodrigo Mejía died almost six months ago, specifically on February 11, 2021. He is survived by his wife, the driver Gaby Crassus, and two young children.

During the first season of the series “Control Z” , released in May 2020, the 45-year-old actor played the role of Natalia’s father.

Rodrigo Mejía was born on September 23, 1975 in Mexico City. In January, he was infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus and, although he managed to overcome the disease, he could not deal with the consequences that remained in his body.

As if that were not enough for his family, the actor’s father, Mr. Salvador Mejía, also died because of the suffering that has the world in check.
