He was one of the best known actors thanks to his role in ‘Blue Summer’

He was one of the most beloved child actors in the 1980s. Forty years after his debut as ‘El piranha’, in the successful series ‘Blue Summer’, Miguel Ángel Valero lives totally removed from the artistic scene.

The last time we saw him in TV it was in the retrospective program ‘Eight me again’.

Valero resigned from his post in the aforementioned office earlier this year and returned to his university classes.

Apart from ‘Verano azul’, to Miguel Ángel we saw him forming a musical duo, ‘Los piranhas’, with another of his classmates from the series, Miguel Joven, who played Tito.

Both they took part in movies as ‘Parents there are no more than two’, sharing a cast with Andrés Pajares and Fernando Esteso, and in ‘Chispita y sus gorilas’.

Miguel Joven is today a tour guide in Nerja, the town where ‘Verano azul’ was filmed.
