These are bad times for nightlife. The coronavirus pandemic forced many places to close permanently, and although a ray of light was beginning to appear on the horizon thanks to the vaccination campaign, the sixth wave and the scandalous numbers of infections that it is leaving has forced many autonomous communities to re-impose club closures, capacities or schedules.

This is not the case in the capital, where the clubs continue to welcome hundreds of people looking to burn off the night after a week of work.

Many choose Lula Club, the nightclub that Íñigo Onieva opened last month in the heart of Madrid, to escape to the rhythm of current music, a few drinks too many and without respecting a single security measure to avoid the spread of coronavirus.

In recent images released by Tamara Falcó’s partner, it can be observed that practically none of his customers wear a mask in a crowded and completely closed place.

The videos, in which the due interpersonal distance is not appreciated either, offer an alarming picture in the middle of the sixth wave and with a cumulative incidence of over 3,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

It stands out that it was Onieva himself who has spread these images through his social networks that can compromise him.

Although the Community of Madrid has not imposed restrictions on nightlife, yes, it requires the use of a mask in interior spaces and charges locals with the responsibility of ensuring that all customers use it correctly.

The truth is that it is not the first time that Íñigo Onieva and Tamara Falcó blatantly fail to comply, without hiding from public opinion, the measures imposed to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

In full de-escalation after a hard confinement, both were seen and recorded breaking curfew and moving between restricted health zones.
