Singer Sinead O’Connor was admitted to hospital after the tragic death of her son Shane, only 17 years old.

Sinead, 55, wrote on her social network Thursday night that she felt Shane’s death was no one’s fault but mine, and shared with her fans that she was in the hospital after also considering taking her own life.

“Sorry. I shouldn’t have said that. Now I’m with the police on the way to the hospital. Sorry I upset everyone. I am lost without my son and I hate myself. The hospital will help for a while. But I’m going to find Shane,” expressed the interpreter on Twitter, but then deleted her messages.

Earlier this week, Sinead O’Connor posted details of her son Shane’s funeral, explaining that she would follow his wishes, so she would have a Hindu ceremony attended only by her and her father, Donal Lunny.

“FYI, Shane was Hindu. So the funeral will be just for his mother and father. This was also the wish that Shane expressed in his suicide notes,” the artist shared on her social network.
