Olivia Valère, one of the best-known faces of Marbella and Parisian nightlife, has lost her life at the age of 75 after suffering a long illness.
The businesswoman will be remembered for being one of the first women to launch a business in the world of the night, at a time when men dominated the sector. It was the year 1981 when she opened a club in Paris that bore her name, and from that moment she began to carve out a niche for herself among the giants of leisure.
Shortly after, and after spending a vacation in Marbella with her friend, the singer Kimera, she decided to open a shop in the city of Malaga to exploit the summer season that she could not develop in the French capital. Her bet turned out to be a complete success, and celebrities of all kinds have passed through the famous club, both national and international.
