On Wednesday January 5, 2022, Michelle Kwan created a surprise by sharing, on her Instagram account, the photograph of a baby … and for good reason, the former skater, 41, welcomed her first child. Discreet in nature, she had kept it to herself throughout her pregnancy but she made up for it by broadcasting a video in which we see her belly growing over the weeks.

I always wanted to be a mom and, for me, she is a true miracle. I often imagined what she would look like and yet it is as if she has always been a part of my life. I went through a long journey before becoming a mother (and a very long childbirth!) and I’m glad I never gave up. I was lucky enough to be supported by many loved ones including fertility doctors , nurses who took care of me, friends I was able to confide in me and my family . ”
Among the people she wanted to thank, Michelle Kwan has not forgotten her darling, ” without whom [she] could not live ” . Married to Lieutenant Clay Pell in 2013, divorced in 2017 , the sportswoman has found love in the arms of a mysterious man – or is it the one she paid homage to in August? – with whom she shared this adventure.
