Kourtney Kardashian confirms her engagement to Travis Barker with a post on Instagram
The reality star posted photos this Sunday of herself and the Blink-182 drummer hugging on a beach, amid a circle of roses, captioning the post “forever.” Barker commented “FOREVER” below the post.
Barker proposed to her at a beachside hotel in Montecito, California this Sunday, according to TMZ.
The Kardashian sisters welcomed the news, and Kim Kardashian posted engagement ring emojis below the post. He also took to Twitter to post a video of the couple, titled “KRAVIS FOREVER.”
Kendall Jenner posted an enlarged image of Kardashian’s hand and engagement ring.
“Kourtney seemed very surprised to see Khloe and Tristan there,” the source said.
Apparently, Barker accompanied Kardashian to the beach at sunset, where an elaborate flower arrangement had been placed. “I could see Kourtney grinning from ear to ear,” commented the source. “The family cheered and went back into the hotel.”
Barker and Kardashian, who are longtime friends, began dating in January of this year. They confirmed their relationship on social media shortly after Valentine’s Day.
Soon after, Barker got his girlfriend’s name tattooed on his chest and, in May, he called the founder of Poosh the “love of his life.”
Multiple reports confirm that Barker has the approval of the Kardashians and that the most famous family in Calabasas has blessed the couple.
The couple celebrated the 4th of July holiday at Disneyland, accompanied by Barker’s son Landon and daughter Alabama, and Kardashian’s youngest son Reign.
Kardashian shares three children with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, but has never been married. Kardashian has previously been related to models Younes Bendjima and Luka Sabbat.
Barker was briefly married to Melissa Kennedy and Shanna Moakler, with whom he shares three children. He dated Rita Ora in 2015.
The couple began dating in early 2021 after being friends for years, according to Globe Live Media.
