The 26-year-old Mexican, Katya Echazarreta, launched this Saturday into outer space aboard the NS-21 ship of the Blue Origin company and dedicated this feat to Mexico.

The official launch time of the ship was at 8:25 in the morning and the flight lasted approximately 10 minutes, with an ascent speed of 3,604 kilometers per hour.

Echazarreta thus became the first woman born in Mexico and the youngest American to fly into space, highlighted the company of tycoon Jeff Bezos.
