Today, Juan Urdangarin, the most shy and reserved of Doña Cristina’s children turns 22 years old. Little or nothing is known about him, unlike his brothers, although he has studied International Relations.
The little Irene is still in Switzerland where she is enrolled at the Ecole International; Pablo is an athlete like his father and lives in Barcelona. This weekend he debuted with Barça B and Miguel study in the UK.
Seventh in the line of succession to the throne, Juan Urdangarin is an accomplished athlete, he practices skiing, tennis or handball, how could it be otherwise, he has also shown in recent years his most supportive side, spending seasons collaborating on projects humanitarian aid, almost always from the hand of the Kike Figaredo foundation.
Thus, in 2018 he was in Cambodia and in 2016, together with other colleagues from the École Internacionale de Genève, the center where he was studying, he participated in the installation of biogas furnaces in a disadvantaged town located in the Mekong River delta.
The fact that he left Barcelona at the age of 10 due to the transfer of his parents to Washington helps to make his public appearances count, which were mainly limited to his visits, every summer, to Marivent (Mallorca).
In fact, despite the fact that his father is in prison in Spain, both his mother and two of his brothers continue to live in Geneva (Switzerland), while he is studying at university in the United Kingdom.
Throughout this time he has been the main support of his mother, the Infanta Cristina, and he has had a bad time because he has been marked by his family situation both at the school where he studied and in other areas of his life.
In fact, on more than one occasion both he and some of his brothers have been rebuked on the street for their father’s involvement in the Noós Case.
That situation was putting him on the defensive and he has been reducing his public appearances to a minimum, although he has had no qualms about going to visit his father in Brieva prison, where he was interned.
