Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner got $15.5 million for their Miami mansion
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s property hit the real estate market in November of last year for $17 million.
Singer Joe Jonas and actress Sophie Turner have finally sold the Miami, Florida mansion they listed for sale in November of last year.
The couple ended up getting $15.5 million, although it initially went on the real estate market for $17 million. When the property was listed for sale it drew attention, as the Jonas Turner family purchased the place in September 2021 for $11 million.
Although they did not receive what they initially expected, it still meant a profit for them of $4.5 million. However, these calculations do not take into account that the couple also invested more money in remodeling the place.
No doubt this property is very attractive, so it was also strange that it took them so long to sell it. It is located on the waterfront in Biscayne Bay, an exclusive community in Miami.
The construction of the property dates back to the 1980s. The structure stands out for its wooden walls, rock and large floor-to-ceiling windows. Currently the property is in perfect condition, partly due to the remodeling done by designer Sarah Ivory when hired by the couple.
According to the specialized magazine ‘Architectural Digest’, Ivory’s idea was to mix the classic design of the 70’s with modern tropicalism.
The main house has an extension of 10,416 square feet distributed in three floors with six bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, hallways, living room, main living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other amenities.
The interior features high 30-foot ceilings, exposed wood beams, double-sided travertine fireplace, multi-toned hardwood floors, spiral staircase and more. On the other hand, the kitchen has white cabinets, marble countertops and more.
Outside there are green areas with terrace, pool, spa area, dining room, kitchen, barbecue area, private dock of 94 feet with access to the bay and other spaces ideal for enjoying the Florida sun.
