This Tuesday morning, the Sanatorium Mater Dei issued a new medical report on the health of Mirtha Legrand (94). The driver of El Trece has been hospitalized in the private clinic since last September 30 after they placed two stents.
“Ms. Mirtha Legrand continues to be admitted to our Sanatorium with a favorable evolution to the treatment. She is in a very good mood, in the company of her family, thanking all the displays of affection. If there are no changes, we will issue a new medical report on Thursday 10/14 at 11 am,” reads the statement signed by doctor Roberto Dupuy de Lôme, director of the clinic.
It should be remembered that the driver entered the medical center at the end of last month, after having felt bad at home. She had not had a good night and decided to contact his family doctor, who went to her home and did some studies on him right there.
By looking at the result of the EKG, which determined that there was a heart abnormality, the professional considered that the best thing would be to transfer her to undergo a series of more exhaustive cardiological analyzes.
That same afternoon, a coronary angiography was performed followed by the placement of two stents.
In the midst of this context, her granddaughter Juana Viale talked about the health of the diva in the cycle Mirtha’s night to bring peace of mind to the public:
“There is Mirtha Legrand for a while. She has evolved in a wonderful way. Stay calm. We adjust the arteries for a while, and voila: free tap. It was a scare, but not such a scare. It was progressive, we took it and the corresponding studies were done. I was with her before the hospitalization, divine.”
In addition, the actress revealed details about how she found her grandmother the day she went to visit her after the intervention. True to style, Chiquita “was made up, goddess, in a coronary unit, of course also combed. She was the most beautiful in the clinic”.
Then, she gave some details of the talk they had:
“It came out perfect. She told me about the theater, because I had gone the day before, she asked me how it had gone, what I thought of the play. Lucid, sensitive and grateful to the Mater Dei who have treated her in a wonderful way, not only to my grandmother but to all her patients. ‘I’m like in a hotel.'”
Last August, Legrand had her last television appearance when she was given permission to return to driving, at least for one night.
“I am grown up, gentlemen, I am a very old lady, but I am vital, I like life, I like my friends, enjoy life. And it was so bad that I called a neurologist. And I say: doctor, I want to go back to being the one I was before. Do you know what he told me? ‘Work, work, work’. It is the best therapy,” added the diva, who wore a dress in pastel pink, one of the three costumes that the designer had Claudio Cosano prepared.
“How strange I feel, but happy, happy and content. Do you know how many days I was locked up? 300 days, yes sir, without leaving my house, or on the balcony. That upsets you, it doesn’t do you good, it doesn’t do the brain good” she said in her speech when she opened her show.
The excuse for her return had been to replace Juanita who had to remain isolated for a few days, after having traveled to Paris to accompany her daughter Amber, the young woman who settled in the French capital to study.
