Elon Musk, the well-known CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, paid $250,000 to a flight attendant to prevent a possible sexual harassment case from coming to light that took place in 2016, according to documents to which Business Insider has had access.
As Insider explains, the stewardess, who also had training as a masseuse, was with Musk on the SpaceX corporate plane when he asked her to give him a massage, something that the CEO of Tesla used to require on his travels . But while the massage was going on, Musk decided to show the stewardess his erect penis , rubbed her leg without her and his consent, and offered to buy her a horse in exchange for an “erotic massage” and certain sexual favors.
In 2018, the affected flight attendant filed a complaint with the company and met with the legal advice service and Musk himself. After the meeting, she signed a confidentiality clause in exchange for $250,000 and promised not to file any official sexual harassment complaint.
Today everything has come to light after a friend of the affected showed official documents of the entire process to Business Insider and recounted the lurid details of the meeting with the CEO of Tesla. ” If there was a way for her to make this public without putting herself at risk, without endangering her life in any way, I think she would do it,” the friend explained .
Musk was quick to deny the facts. “There is much more to this story,” he told Business Insider, “ If I was prone to getting involved in sexual harassment cases, it is unlikely that this would be the first case in my 30-year career to come to light.” In fact, Musk went further and claimed that these accusations were clearly “politically motivated”.
