Abel Rocha, renowned figure in the world of Latin dubbing and who lent his voice to the legendary Sheng Long in the series “Dragon Ball”, he lost his life this Friday at the age of 96. This was announced by his partner and friend, actor Luis Garza.
Garza, who is known for giving his voice to “Krillin” in the famous animated saga, regretted the departure of his professional colleague and sent his condolences to his entire family through his Twitter account.
“We were ahead of my dear Abelito, the one and only voice of Shenlong in DBZ. You rest in peace, friend,” began writing the well-known voice actor when announcing the unfortunate news.
The Mexican actor also recalled all the signs of affection that Rocha had with him in life. “Thank you for your kindness, your beautiful words always, your kindness, your smile, I will miss you. Rest in peace Abel Rocha. My sincere condolences to his sister Gloria”. He added.

Abel Rocha had more than 40 years of experience in the dubbing industry. Throughout his career he lent his voice in titles such as The Danish Girl, Super 8, A Nightmare on Elm Street, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The Punisher, A Crazy Friday, Jackass, Blade, among others, being Sheng Long one of the most remembered.
