Christian Nodal serenades his mother despite his record label’s musical veto

His problems began with the lawsuit he filed against his label, Universal Music, for an alleged breach of contract, but not only does he face that legal battle, but the Mexican Association of Producers of Phonograms and Videograms warned, through a statement, to request of Universal Music, which will veto Nodal’s music and work in the country.

According to the newspaper El Universal “the association addressed businessmen and artists to refrain from hiring, manufacturing or commercializing the artist’s musical work, if it is not approved by the multinational.” The warning is extended to digital platforms, radio stations, television stations and two of the largest promoters in the Aztec country: Ocesa and Live Nation.

They also included in this veto the singer Belinda, who could not work with her partner from now on.

“To Belinda Peregrin to refrain from making, producing, exploiting, promoting, marketing, broadcasting or recording any video clip, videogram, phonogram, sound recording with the solo and / or joint performance of the future defendant Christian Nodal”, reported the newspaper.

But the veto, which would fine anyone who violates the request with several thousand dollars, was not an obstacle for the singer to celebrate the birthday of his mother, Cristy Nodal, in style.
