This Tuesday, Benjamin Salinas, vice president of the Board of Grupo Salinas, made the news public of the death of Alberto Ciurana, executive of TV Azteca.
“I am so sorry for the passing of Alberto Ciurana, a dear collaborator to whom Azteca owes much of what we build together, in this house he will always be remembered with affection and gratitude. I send a hug to his family and friends,” he posted.
The head of content and distribution of TV Azteca was 60 years old and in the first days of his illness he claimed to have mild symptoms, which progressed to require hospitalization and intubation.
“I regret to inform you that I am infected with COVID-19. I have mild symptoms but they require medical attention,” the businessman and television executive who worked as Director of Content and Distribution for TV Azteca wrote in a statement.
The executive’s Covid chart was presented just days after he received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
