Luis Jordany Rivera Gomez was arrested on the PR-53 highway during a traffic stop for violation of Law 22.
Police arrested a 21-year-old man who was on the run for the crime of smuggling people into Texas on Friday on the PR-53 highway in the Naguabo jurisdiction.
According to the police report, the young man identified as Luis Jordany Rivera Gomez had several arrest warrants issued for the date of August 10, 2022, in Texas.
Rivera Gomez was detained during a traffic stop for violation of Law 22 on the aforementioned roadway.
Agent Dolis M. Perez, supervised by Sgt. Luis A. Torres – both assigned to the San Juan Arrest and Extradition Division – took custody of the arrestee for the extradition process.
