That’s right, the renowned actor will return to court accused of allegedly beating Gregg ‘Rocky’ Brooks.
Apparently Johnny Deep is not far from the controversy, because after the media court battle against his ex-wife Amber Heard from which he emerged victorious, now he will step on the stand again accused of allegedly hitting Gregg ‘Rocky’ Brooks, location manager for the film City of Lies.
And it is that the famous actor just finished celebrating his triumph in the trial against fellow actress Amber, whom he accused of defamation, when he must resume the case initiated by Brooks.
A first verdict favored the 58-year-old actor, who will return to the Los Angeles Superior Court to testify, again accompanied by his lawyers Benjamin Chew and Camille Vasquez.
Despite the repercussion that the trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has had, Brooks’ lawyer insisted that it will not be relevant to the case.
“This is not about two Hollywood celebrities involved in a toxic relationship. It is about the assault of a film crew member worker by the star of the production,” he told The Sun.
On the other hand, as you may remember, Deep starred in one of the most controversial and media trials against his ex-wife, Amber Heard.
For weeks, the mutual accusations of physical, verbal and psychological abuse that both insisted on suffering during their relationship were deliberated.
In court, strong accusations were heard between the two celebrities and the abuses that both must have said they suffered.
And while the actor assured that his then-partner left traces of feces on his bed, she denied the accusations and indicated that they were actually from the couple’s pet.
She assured that the feces were from Boo, the actor’s dog, who even consumed a medicinal plant that the famous man kept, in his residence, which caused consequences for the animal.
As expected, the public closely followed the trial, where the actress also spoke about the damage she has suffered in her career and the threats she has received from the actor’s fans.
The court finally sentenced Amber Heard to compensate the actor with a millionaire sum, however, her defense argued that she does not have the resources to comply, for which there is much speculation about the ruin of the famous actress.
On the other hand, Deep celebrated the verdict along with his 59th birthday and thanked those who did not abandon him in this legal battle or doubt his version, through an emotional statement.
