Judicial sources have reported this Saturday that Jean-Luc Brunel, the former modeling agent implicated in the Epstein case, has been found dead in his cell at La Santé prison in Paris.

The Frenchman was accused of rape of minors over 15 years of age and sexual harassment in an investigation that the French authorities still keep open.

At the moment the causes of death are unknown and not many details about the event have emerged, but the French Prosecutor’s Office has reported that an investigation has already been opened to clarify the reasons for death and, apparently, no hypothesis is ruled out.

Although there is no official confirmation, the BFM TV chain assures that Jean-Luc Brunel committed suicide by hanging himself in his cell.

It was in 2019 when the French Prosecutor’s Office began an investigation to find possible branches of the infamous Epstein case in the country.

Then, Jean-Luc Brunel was accused of numerous rapes and sexual assaults, both minors and adults and his involvement with the Hollywood magnate consisted of the transportation and lodging of his young victims.

The businessman, who was 76 years old, was arrested at the end of 2020 at a Paris airport, just as he was about to take a flight to Senegal.

The name of Jean-Luc Brunel appeared in several testimonials from French and American girls who They claimed that he was in charge of looking for young people to participate in Jeffrey Epstein’s parties.
