Pennsylvania State Police said units responded to the car crash at a home in Decatur Township at 3:25 pm. When officers arrived they found a vehicle crashed on the second floor of the residence.

An investigation determined the crash was “an intentional act” and charges against the driver were pending, according to police.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Evan Miller, 20, who was transported to nearby Geisinger Lewistown Hospital, according to the Pennsylvania State Police report.

No fatalities were reported from the incident and the occupants of the home were unharmed, according to the Decatur Volunteer Fire Company.

No charges had been filed against Miller as of Tuesday afternoon, according to the Pennsylvania Unified Judicial System website.

Rescue crews, in conjunction with police and volunteers, stabilized the home and helped the homeowners put a tarp over the hole because of upcoming storms.

On Sunday night, at least three people were killed and others were injured after a bus carrying about 50 people and a passenger vehicle crashed on a Pennsylvania highway.

The collision unfolded just before 11:50 p.m. Sunday in the southbound lanes of Interstate 81 in Lower Paxton Township in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release reviewed by NBC News.

It was not immediately clear what caused the accident, but police said the bus, which was carrying between 45 and 50 people, was flipped on its side after the collision.

There was a heavy downpour at the time of the accident, said police, who confirmed that at least three people were pronounced dead at the scene.

Some passengers were also taken to Hershey Medical Center for injuries ranging from “minor to critical,” according to police.

CBS News Philadelphia says the bus had departed from New York, but there was no advance information on where it was headed.
