The well-known singer Marília Mendonça lost her life this Friday after the aircraft in which she was traveling crashed in the southwest of Brazil, reported the Minas Gerais Fire Department.
The 26-year-old Brazilian artist was one of the fatalities left by this plane crash that occurred at approximately 3 in the afternoon. She was traveling to Minas Gerais to give a concert this weekend.

The facts:
Preliminary reports indicate that the ship carrying the singer crashed into a river in the rural area of Piedade de Caratinga.
“It is confirmed that the aircraft was carrying the singer Marília Mendonça and that she is among the fatal victims”, confirmed the Fire Department through a statement.
They added that four other people were part of the crew and their bodies have not yet been rescued. So far it is unknown what would have been the causes of the fatal plane crash.
The artist had published a video about her tour of the air terminal and inside the plane, which crashed minutes later.
