A Shelby County, Tennessee man is now $200,000 richer, thanks to an instant lottery ticket he bought in Cordova City.
According to the Tennessee Lottery, player named JaQuon S., who works as a restaurant clerk, went to Nashville with several members of his family to claim the prize that was drawn from a ‘Win Win Win’ instant ticket.
He had to go to the lottery offices, because winners of prizes over $199,999 must do so in person in Nashville.
The whole family was full of excitement and laughing non-stop, plus they were still a little shaken, according to lottery officials, according to the ABC 24 news portal.
Now, JaQuon is planning to go on a trip to a beach: “I just want to see some water on a long vacation. My birthday is coming up and I decided to buy a lottery ticket. I guess I was lucky!”
This week alone, Tennessee Lottery players won more than $22.2 million in prizes, with nearly 500 winners pocketing $1,000 or more each.
