yandelone of the stars of this latest edition of LOS40 Primavera Pop, stopped by the hit radio’s Central Studios this week to talk with Tony Aguilar about his new album, R3ENDURANCEthe musical talent he achieved on Netflix with Tainy and Rauw Alejandro and that collaboration with Rosalía that we have not yet overcome.

Collaboration with Rosalie

“We wanted to remix an old school song and we asked Rosalía which song she liked the most about us. She quickly said wet kisses2. It was perfect because it was a successful song, but we had never worked on it with a video, on the radio… for this new generation it’s a completely new song. Besides, Rosalía gives it a very special touch. For me she is one of the best artists in a matter of everything.”

‘The Firm’ with Netflix

“Tainy and Lex put this movie together. I loved the concept, there was so much talent there. It’s very sad to eliminate a person who is so talented, that he is better than any of the artists who are hitting hard right now.. we appreciate In the business and enjoy the moment.”

Tainy

“He’s one of the greatest producers. I’m a fan of his music. When he arrived at the studio he was 14 years old and very quickly he showed artists who were worth what he was worth at the time and, to this day, it continues to break”.

The best reggaeton moment

“We didn’t believe in the growth of this genre. Great things happened. When Americans noticed reggaeton, it was special. When we collaborated with 50 Cent, Chris Brown, Akon…we got what we wanted, that americans pay attention to reggaeton“.

A very choral album

“I am very happy to R3ENDURANCE, my new album. They will find collaborations with Yandel, Maluma, Ñeko & Dálmata, Baby Rasta & Gringo…a brutal group where they will enjoy good reggaeton”.

Yandel’s secret 150

“The title of the song came out during the filming of the video. We had finished the song and the music video director asked me for the name. I said, ‘He doesn’t have a name yet.'” Feid was the one who said Yandel 150. He explained his concept to me. He always puts numbers to the songs and then I understood. Feid is a person who is very excited at the moment and that he supports me in this way, I appreciate that.”
