Orlando Florida. – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has determined that the body found abandoned on Interstate 4 on Jan. 26 matches Tequilla L. Shepherd, a woman who jumped out of her partner’s car and fled.

Albert Ayala, the victim’s partner, confessed last Wednesday that he escaped the area after crashing when he lost control of the vehicle on the exit ramp as he tried to return there where Shepherd had thrown himself after an argument they had had.

The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m.

At that time, authorities received multiple calls from vehicles crashing into what appeared to be a human body on eastbound I-4 near the Orange Blossom Trail exit.

When officers arrived in the area, they found the woman dead on the freeway and an unattended crash vehicle was located on the I-4 off-ramp south to Orange Blossom Trail.

The car was driven by the suspect who was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and driving with a suspended license.
