The promise returns to our screens for another week after some very busy chapters. The fiction series broadcast for several weeks on TVE’s La 1 has the public very hooked, but there will still be some who will not know who is who in the new series.
If you’re one of those who never miss an episode and are looking forward to Monday at 4:30 p.m. to sit in front of the television and watch a new episode, at LOS40 we give you a little preview of what you can see from Monday 13 to Friday March 17.
Summary of the chapter of Monday March 13
The Marquis finally made his son Manuel see the difficult financial situation they are living in La Promesa and he understood that the only solution a priori was to marry Jimena. However, Manuel’s clumsiness means he doesn’t know how to seduce her and he turns to his mother, Doña Cruz, for advice and she offers to give him a personal gift. To do this, Manuel chooses a silver rattle that he has kept since he was a child and, of course, Jimena receives it with great enthusiasm.
The Marquises decide to go further to support their son and invite Jimena’s parents, the Dukes of the Infantes to La Promesa to formalize the marriage proposal. Jana will be the one who can no longer bear to see how this relationship progresses, although at least she managed to speak with Mrs. Eugenia and confirm that she was the one who stayed with her brother, but forced by her father.
