LOS40 ECHO 2023 begins with new projects in which music and ecology will once again be protagonists and with the commitment to continue carrying out initiatives in favor of our planet. The ECO of LOS40 has committed in 2022 to carry out 40 initiatives focused on promoting the protection of the environment of different territories and giving a voice to all those who work to save the homeland of music: our planet.
This year, the LOS40 ECO establishes five key territories in which to act: water, air, forests, animals and his planet, emphasizing the different ways in which they suffer the consequences of human action: pollution, drought, fires, disappearance of animal species… The LOS40 ECO will call for action from LOS40 listeners and users to address these issues in each of the territories discussed. Thus, LOS40 and its followers will unite during this year 2023 to try to reduce pollution, help curb water waste, contribute to conscious mobility, influence awareness of fire prevention and fight against the disappearance of animal breeds. The LO40 ECO will dedicate two months to each territory and cause, informing and raising awareness, and with different initiatives such as Ecological interviews (conferences of experts, to which artists will also join, to explain the problem and generate debates, creating a space for sharing ideas and initiatives on ecology and sustainability) or the launch of different challenges and activations with the aim of mobilizing the public to raise awareness and generate changes in habits.

About LOS40’s ECHO
In 2022, LOS40 launched its El ECO de LOS40 campaign, a project where music and ecology come together to carry out 40 sustainable initiatives, with a Let’s talk eco, which took place on June 1 in Madrid, where ideas were discussed to try to reduce the environmental footprint. After the first Eco Talk, it started From trash to live, an action aimed at reducing the waste generated during festivals and concerts organized by LOS40, which notably resulted in their summer tour: LOS40 Summer Live. The third initiative of the year was another Let’s talk eco held in Mallorca, as part of the LOS40 Music Awards nominees dinner, where the importance of taking care of the oceans was the main protagonist. After the EcoTalk, there was a waste collection on four beaches of the Balearic Islands in which more than 200 volunteers participated. The ECO closed out 2022 at the LOS40 Music Awards gala where model and band member Hinds Ana Perrote, she wore a spectacular dress designed by Federico Betancourt made with waste collected on the beaches of the Balearic Islands.
