The Melbourne National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Orange and Osceola counties in central Florida.
The advisory specifically pertains to southeast Orange County and northeast Osceola County.
At 8:03 p.m., a severe thunderstorm with the potential to produce a tornado was located nine miles east of Narcoossee. The system was moving east at 20 miles per hour.
The notice would expire at 8:30 p.m.
