“Tonikawadebuted to outright success as a new slice-of-life and romance anime at the time, and many kept asking for a second season to come soon. Well, obviously for a while now, we know that Season 2 of anime “Tonikawa” will air in April 2023. However, they have now revealed to us the deadline in addition to a new trailer through which to finish heating the floor.
Tonikawa’s anime already has the countdown to its return
Before moving on to the definitive information to consider regarding the return of the “Tonikawa” anime, I leave you with the trailer that was born today (via ANN):

- anime season 2 officially starts on April 7, 2023.
- Crunchyroll will take care of streaming the episodes of Tonikawa’s second season internationally as they air on Japanese television.
- The second season of the anime will recover everyone who participated in the first season both in terms of production and dubbing.
- As of today, Tonikawa’s manga has 22 published volumes and a total of 227 chapters. With the first season, it was only adapted up to volume 5 (Chapter 44) of the franchise, so it’s more than obvious that not only will Season 2 not be Tonikawa’s last, but there are still a few more to come.
I have to say that even though I usually watch romance slices, “Tonikawa” didn’t catch my eye at first. In fact, I still have it pending. However, If the adaptation continues to do as well as it did when it started, I might end up putting it on the “possible viewing” list in a few years.. Because nothing else, but the spring season is full of interesting anime.
