Orlando Florida. – As Volusia and Flagler counties prepare for Motorcycle Week 2023, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) is asking citizens to be safe on the roads.

The 10-day event begins this Friday.

As a result, county authorities will be scattered throughout the area to prevent accidents or tragedies.

“The FCSO will be available in force throughout the county to keep our roads safe, manage traffic and attack criminal activity, including the theft of motorcycles and cars. Multiple reckless and drink-driving operations will be in effect throughout the event,” reads the communication from Flagler Sheriff Rick Staly.

“We will have zero tolerance for alcohol and driving at the same time. So also with aggressive driving,” he added.

Additionally, they’ve asked people to report any activity they think is suspicious.

Last year, a couple had their throats slit in the activity. The suspect has been arrested.

What is “Bicycle Week”?

“Bike Week” in Daytona Beach is one of the rallies of the most famous motorcycles in the world.

This year, it will take place from March 3 to 12. People ride motorboats along historic Main Street to Midtown, the Scenic A1A Highway, and through Old Florida and Ormond Beach Scenic Loop.
