Investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Major Crimes Bureau are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman, a possible kidnap victim, and the man who took her. Trade.
The incident happened at 4:21 p.m. Tuesday while the victim was walking and talking on his cell phone, according to the sheriff’s department.
As he approached the 2200 block of Couts Avenue, the man drove his vehicle into a nearby driveway, got out of the car, struck the victim with a handgun, dragged him from the passenger side of the vehicle and drove off.
The identity of the victim and the man who abducted her is unknown.
