Henderson police have a new chief, the city announced Monday.
In a social media post, the city announced that Deputy Chief Hollie Chadwick would be promoted to Chief of Police.
Chadwick served in the Henderson Police Department for 21 years and held a variety of leadership positions “including patrol sergeant and problem solving group, lieutenant overseeing SWAT and more”.
The post says Chadwick is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and holds a doctorate in public service leadership from Capella University. Additionally, he earned a dual bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Chadwick is due to be sworn in on Tuesday, May 2.
