An intimidating sound in the sky that no one wants to miss: the roar of engines and the fleeting passing of F-16 Falcon fighter jets, in an air show that will fill the skies of Homestead with adrenaline.
Daniella Levine Cava, Mayor of Miami Dade, says:
“You can watch this weekend in Homestead from our show Wings Over Home.”
Joshua Padgett, UEAF 482nd Fighter Wing Commander, says:
“A show lasting around 4 hours a day, one on Saturday and another on Sunday”; explains this commander of the 482 Fighter Wing of the US Air Force.
“It’s an opportunity to interact with the community, to give something back as a sign of appreciation to those who have always been so good to us.”
Wings Over Homestead, in Spanish, “Alas sobre Homestead”, expects more than 100,000 participants at the Air Reserve base.
This will be the venue for the air show that hasn’t been heard or seen since 2018.
